In a society that has you counting money, pounds, calories, and steps, be a rebel and count your blessings instead.
As a Canadian I've recently celebrated Thanksgiving. I know my American girlfriends will celebrate later this month.
We've never been a family who does the *let's go around the table and tell each other what we are thankful for* thingy. To me it has always felt too contrived instead of heart-felt and soul-stirring.
This year was not different. We still didn't do the *thingy* but each of us in our hearts seemed even more grateful than usual for the fact that we could be together this year (something we took for granted pre-pandemic) sharing a meal and our appreciation and love for each other on this celebratory day of abundance.
I have a lot of things to give thanks for. My heart knows my ultimate gratitude is for my family, friends and people in my life. I believe my energy communicated that emotion to them on that day and all days.
I hope you also feel that today and every day.
Thank you for reading. I know I keep saying this: As women we are important to each other. We're better together. Thanks for spreading the word and I'd so appreciate it if you keeping telling your friends about Wear Your Life Well.
Pay it forward. Why not reach out to someone you love or care about and let them know how you are feeling.
